We were able to see our doctor this morning. She explained to us that about 50% of pregnant women experience spotting, and 80% of them go on to have normal healthy pregnancies. She did an internal ultrasound to rule out the possibility of a tubal pregnancy. She had a little trouble finding the little doughnut shaped yolk sack and the embryonic sack, but she did. When she did it was still in my uterus. Such a relief! Dr. Craig said that it looks ok but we need to be back in a week and a half. So we are keeping our appointment for the 20th.

Today around 4 o’clock I used the restroom and saw some spotting……..I have been a nervous wreck…..nobody wants to see this! Barrett came home early to be with me. We paged the doctor and were instructed to come in, in the morning for an ultrasound.

Went back to the doctor to check progesterone levels today. Turns out they still are not as high as the doctor would like. She had prescribed progesterone twice a day for 10 weeks.
We are scheduled back on the 20th for our first ultrasound, and possibly see a little heart beat.
Today we find out!……………first test I took was positive. Right away we were both not believing our eyes. So, we decided to use another test. Positive again! NO WAY
I went to work that day, Barrett went out and bought a digital pregnancy test. After work we tested again, PREGNANT!
The most amazing thing has just happened to us……we are so lucky.
It is almost unbelievable
Today we went to the fertility doctor for our confirmation blood pregnancy test. She said we are definitely pregnant. WOW……we are pregnant!
I am scheduled to go back to check my progesterone levels on Wednesday the 5th. The doctor said they were on the lower end of the scale…….but not considered too low………she wants to see them significantly higher on Wednesday.

This cycle I was again given Provera to induce a period. Then on days 3-5 I took Chlomid 150mg. My body did respond. I had one follicle on my right ovary that was large enough. We were instructed to administer the HCG shot on the 15th and we would inseminate on the 17th.
Insemination went well, very uncomfortable and somewhat painful.
Two week wait……………….fingers crossed
